Also included are a pair of brown medium-grit stones for aggressive sharpening and a set of fine white stones for professional-grade finishing. A set of brass safety rods protects your hands while sharpening
The component stone rods are triangular and stand vertically in the ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic base snapping into place, is portable lying flat with a cover for portability and storage.
If you want to permanently attach the base in your workshop or kitchen, use the holes drilled into the base for doing so.
Sharpen your blades with dry blades with no water, oil, or lubricants then scrub with a plastic scouring pad and scouring powder, rinse with water, then let air dry.
Turn the base around if you’re left-handed.
Set the stone angles for sharpening at 30-degrees that’s 15-degrees on each side, or 40-degrees that’s 20-degrees on each side for sharpening knives.
Just keep the knife’s blade vertical and draw the edge along each side to sharpen it. For serrated blades, use the rounded edges of the stones and a slightly looser grip to allow the stone to flow into the recesses of each serration.
